Estructuras Lago has participado in the widening of the Rande Bridge, in the manufacture and the assembly of the main structure. Estructuras Lago It has been the first widening in the world of a cable-stayed bridge, made on the original structure (built in 1977) and allowing traffic at all times during the construction works.

It entailed a considerable reduction in travel times, reducing by 24 km the distance between the city of Vigo city and the peninsula of O Morrazo, while significantly increasing the safety of the journey.
Investment and Benefits
With a total investment of 192 millions of euros, the cross-section of the highway has increased from two to three lanes in each direction. In summer, traffic increases to almost 70,000 vehicles per day.
Innovation
Diseño y ejecución de un procedimiento constructivo, totalmente innovador, que ha hecho posible la ampliación. Ésta ha consistido en adosar, terceros carriles adyacentes, al exterior del puente original, sustentando por 80 nuevos tirantes que han requerido trabajos en altura a más de 120m.
